Lydia’s Place Boutique offers dignity and support to aging-out foster youth, homeless youth, and the broader foster care community—while inviting the general public to shop with purpose. The boutique features a curated selection of new and gently used clothing, shoes, and toiletries, including casual wear, professional attire for interviews, and seasonal items. For students and individuals connected to the foster care system, all items are available free of charge through scheduled appointments, allowing them the freedom to choose what they need based on their own preferences.
The LP Boutique is now also open to the public, with items priced affordably between $5 and $25. All proceeds help fund Lydia’s Place programs that support housing stability and educational success for vulnerable youth.
Located at our offices in Watkinsville, the LP Boutique hosts donation days twice a month and welcomes volunteers to help sort clothing and rotate seasonal items. We gladly accept new or very gently used clothing and essentials for young adults aged 17–24. Whether you’re donating, volunteering, shopping, or referring a student, your involvement helps restore dignity and hope.

I was honestly shocked when I saw how full the shelves were in the warehouse with useful items. I was living in my car for a couple of months and forever grateful for everyone who has helped me in this process.

Foster parents, school counselors, and social workers can still access boutique items at no cost by scheduling an appointment. Our team is here to ensure that every child and student has what they need, no questions asked.
Lydia’s Place Boutique relies entirely on donations from the community, and every item makes a difference in a student’s journey toward independence. Students are encouraged to visit the Boutique as needed to ensure they have the essentials to succeed.

Volunteers can: Join the Boutique Committee, sign up for sorting events, help with donation drop-off days, conduct drives for things like toiletries, home goods, and cleaning supplies (check our Amazon Wishlist for ideas), help flip the Boutique to seasonally appropriate items twice a year, assist students as they shop, and more.
